Sophie & Tony | Carrow House, Norwich

Sophie & Tony's wedding at Carrow House was one of those days that reminds you why weddings are so much fun to film in the first place. Great people, loads of personality and a couple who were completely focused on enjoying every second of it.

As only the second wedding ever held at Norwich's brand new Carrow House, there was already a bit of excitement surrounding the day. The venue itself is unlike anything else in the city. Full of character, packed with unique spaces and offering something completely different to the traditional wedding venue.

The morning started at a nearby Airbnb where Sophie got ready alongside her nearest and dearest. The atmosphere was exactly how a wedding morning should be. Music playing, plenty of laughs, a few happy tears and everyone genuinely excited for what was ahead.

The ceremony itself was one of the most emotional I've filmed. Officiated by one of Sophie and Tony's closest friends, it felt incredibly personal from start to finish. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. Just two people surrounded by everyone they love, being married by someone who knows them better than almost anyone else.

Of course, the weather had other ideas for parts of the day. But honestly, it didn't matter. If anything, it brought everyone together even more. The team at Carrow House handled everything effortlessly and the venue looked incredible regardless of what was happening outside. Every space offered something unique and there was never a moment where the day felt interrupted by the conditions.

By the evening, the party was in full swing. DJ Jon Holder had the dancefloor busy from the moment it opened, while Neil McGovern's saxophone brought an extra level of energy to the celebrations. Add in a casino from Anglia Fun Casino and there was never a quiet moment all night.

The whole day felt like a perfect reflection of Sophie and Tony. Relaxed, fun, emotional and completely centred around the people they love most.

A brilliant wedding. A brilliant couple. And an incredible way to experience one of Norwich's newest wedding venues.

Kind Words

Megan you are incredible!!

We booked Megan at short notice after originally deciding not to have a videographer, and I'm so glad we did! Not only did she capture our day beautifully, but she was such a friendly, calming and joyful presence throughout the day. Megan managed to capture so many little moments without us even realising she was filming, and the final video truly encapsulates us and our relationship perfectly! I tear up every time I watch it back and love being able to relive every aspect of the day through our video.

I can't recommend Megan highly enough - thank you Megan! xx
